Welcoming Party of SEA-Teacher Students from Indonesia and the Philippines
On Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 was the day of acceptance of all SEA-Teacher students from Indonesia and the Philippines at Dong Thap University, Vietnam.
We were welcomed by one of the lecturers there. The welcome given was quite warm and very good. At the end of the speech we were given a bag containing a book and a bottle of drinking water that read "Dong Thap University"

First Dinner with All of SEA-Teacher Students and Lecturers
Around 04.50 pm, we went to one of the famous restaurants in the city of Cao Lanh, we arrived there at around 05.00 pm. We sat down according to the respective majors listed on our dining table. I had the same table as Putu, Salma, Puja, Daniel, Delek, a Taiwanese student and 3 Preschool lecturers from Dong Thap University.
The first menu for our dinner was seafood, we enjoyed food while introducing ourselves and talking about the school which we will later attend. After changing several times the food menu on the table we also feel very full. The hands continued to turn, our time came to go back to the dorm and get ready to attend the Met Gala event held by Dong Thap University.

Met Gala at DThU

After dinner around 07.00 pm, we attended the Met Gala event held by Dong Thap University. Over there we met many lecturers and students from various departments of education. They present a variety of interesting performances, such as dancing, solos, group vocals and much more. We, SEA-Teacher participants from Indonesia, wear traditional costumes from each region and we put on a show. The show was in the form of group vocals, and the song we sang was Rayuan Pulau Kelapa. Their enthusiasm and acceptance towards us was very good. At this moment we hope that they will always be kind and miss the moments.
